Creative Campaign #2
Design Portfolio (MPDC-710-101)
Disciplines Used: Graphic Design, Social Media Concepts, Video
This project is a creative campaign for my Design Portfolio class at Georgetown. For this project we had to create a campaign that we will be working on in the future at our job. Our assignment designing three different deliverables However there was a twist, we had to choose a classmates instead. I chose to take on a classmates project, which is was
for a Gym & Studio.

It partners with other local small businesses and restaurants to offer discounts to its members. It offers a variety of classes. The gym depends on its membership fees to operate and had to temporarily close its doors due to the COVID-19 crisis. During this time, they are offering virtual at-home classes taught by their top instructors and encouraging their members to retain their memberships. The gym needs to have a strong re-opening campaign once they can open their doors again. The marketing objective is to get new members to sign up and retain the current member base.
For deliverables I created a postcard, flyer, ecard, web banner and Facebook share image. Each deliverable has a similar design and look, and I want that to carry throughout the campaign.
My classmate is a brand ambassador for the gym. The Target were active members of neighborhoods in Washington D.C. with an interest in fitness or fitness classes. With my deliverable I designed postcards to send out into those target areas.
The postcards were a last option.
Since it’s a community-based gym, I made a flyer for passing out and to post at a variety of places.

The gym needed a series of advertisements – ALL digital because everyone is currently at home with a flexible approach for web and social media ads. The second deliverable is a web banner. My hope is that it appears on sites for businesses around the area.

Another approach was to connect with current clients by sending out an email blast. I created an ecard from the flyer. about the promotion.

The last deliverable is for social media. Mint could post these on Facebook and the ambassadors could also post them. I made three different campaigns with a variety of approaches. My goal in designing was to create eye-catching designs. My reason to make it pop out when people scroll through their feed. One set I made with less words for Facebook ads. In case they want to create an ad.  Facebook allows a certain number of characters. The graphic with more words could be used and transformed into a flyer.

For social media video is a new trend. I made the first
social media graphic into a short video.

I had a lot of fun doing this campaign and just going outside of my comfort zone
to create different solutions and approaches.
