Capstone (MPDC 900-101) 
Discipline Used: Graphic Design, Video
Assignment: The main assignment in the DMC Capstone course is the Capstone Project. After identifying and securing a company or organization of your choosing, you will respond to a client design or design management challenge by creating a well-researched, creative, multifaceted project that exemplifies your development as a DMC professional. You will be able to choose a client based on your personal and professional interests (see the ​Preparing for Capstone​ document for information and resources related to client selection and approval). This can be a passion project in which you help an organization or cause that you care about. This could also be an opportunity to explore an industry or design field that you want to learn more about. The end-goal is to have a great project that you are proud to add to your portfolio.
 Tabernacle Community Baptist Church has been following the call of God, since 1922, is one of the nation’s most historic churches. Tabernacle’s goal was to build a greater Tabernacle for God and humanity. As the membership increased ‘Community’ was added to the name of the church to differentiate it from another congregation. The name change was also a reference to the community Tabernacle was called to serve—Milwaukee’s Park West neighborhood, in the 53206-area code.

Brand Identity + Guidelines

Flyer
The flyer showcases the church as a happy and friendly place. I broke away from traditional style and used shapes to make it appeal to the target audience. These will also get handed out to residents in the Park West neighborhood, 53206 area and beyond.

Social Media Image
Social Media Post invites people to come to the church and shows some church members. Weekly Events Social Media Post to remind people and members about church happenings and events.

Facebook Event graphics: Using the same approach, I used a script and sans serif font. 
These will be used for promoting Facebook events.
